Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Please ask any questions you have about any item before placing an order, ensuring you have read our terms and conditions and product descriptions as all purchases are final

Requests for returns or exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving the order. Requests made after 14 days may not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If items are defective or damaged or we made an error in processing your order we can either process a refund or exchange the item with an equivalent item. In this case, we will also reimburse you for the cost of shipping the item back to us and pay the postage for sending you the exchange item where relevant.

Please note that, for hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange goods that have been opened. All items to be returned must be in the original packaging, unopened and in original condition.

If we agree to you returning the goods, as set out above, please send an email to us at info@simplicityaccessories.com.au with your order number and the items you wish to return or exchange with a brief reason and wait for our confirmation email.

Items sent back to us as returns or exchanges must be postmarked within 14 days of the date the items were delivered.

In accordance with this Refunds, Returns and Exchanges Policy, on receipt of the goods:

We will process your request to either credit your account or send you a replacement item and send you a confirmation email

If a refund is payable, we will credit your account accordingly, less shipping charges and in Australian dollars, within five business days of receiving the returned goods

If an exchange is agreed, the items will be posted to you within 1-3 days of receiving the goods

In the unlikely event that you do experience issues, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right. We like our customers to be happy.

Please note

Simplicity Accessories will not be held responsible for:

  • Any items sought to be returned or exchanged by you where they have been sent to the wrong address.
  • Loss or damage of returned goods incurred during shipping
  • Paying international duties and taxes. (For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs bureau).

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Jewellery or accessories with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@simplicityaccessories.com.au.

Gifts

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item
